The protagonists of 14th century return to the most important palaces of Siena. Actors, wearing the magnificent clothes of the historic pageant of the Palio, offer very lively fragments of daily life involving visitors who will meet St Catherine, play dice with the poet Cecco Angiolieri and will listen to Duccio di Buoninsegna quarrel with Simone Martini. A realistic reconstruction of Medieval clothes, of the historic events, of the language, and of characters, ghosts who become alive, speak with the visitors, and play with them in a mixture of dream and reality.
