This wine comes from four small vineyards of 18 hectares which surround a stone building built in the 16th century, Casato “Prime Donne.” Here the Brunello ages for at least two years in oak barrels and barriques. Over the barrels are frescoes showing the history of Montalcino.
Colour dark ruby red that becomes garnet with ageing. Aroma full, rich, fine, recalling spices and small red fruits. Taste full, intense, harmonious and warm.
Serve at 18-20°C. |

The first important red wine chosen by female tasters; Maureen Ashley, Master of Wine, the German wineshop owner and expert Astrid Schwarz, one of the best Italian sommeliers Daniela Scrobogna and the Italo-American Pr. Marina Thompson. Colour dark ruby red that becomes garnet with ageing. Aroma fine, recalling spices and small red fruits. Taste, full, harmonious, intense, and warm with well-balanced tannins.
Serve at 18-20°C.

| Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva |

To celebrate the launching of the new Casato Prime Donne winery, Donatella Cinelli Colombini has produced a Brunello di Montalcino Riserva and has presented it in 750 ml bottles and in magnums. Colour dark and brilliant ruby red. Aroma intense, full, rich in spicy notes and hints of ripe small red fruits.
Serve at 18-20°C.

| Rosso di Montalcino DOC |

The three doves on the label represent Donatella, her daughter Violante and her husband Carlo who shares with his wife a great passion for red wines. This Rosso di Montalcino is refined for six months in small casks which enhance its powerful structure.
Colour dark ruby red. Aroma definitely of small red fruits, lingers at length. Taste intense, harmonious, reasonably warm and with well-balanced tannins.
Serve at 18-20°C.

| Grappa di Brunello |
 |
This is obtained from grape-skins which are fermented and steam-distilled in a discontinuous still straight after the racking. They are aged in oak casks. Colour white and perfectly limpid. Aroma fine, intense, frank, ethereal with definite hints of the grapes. Taste intense and persistent.
Alcohol – 43° vol.
