Valentines Day 2012 a very romantic night in a Tuscan villa

The scenario is that which surrounds Fattoria del Colle in the Tuscan countryside which is most intact and suggestive. The programme foresees a regenerating itinerary in the new wellness centre (upon request available the exclusive use for just one couple) aphrodisiac dinner accompanied with a great Brunello and a romantic, rally romantic night! Candle lit bedroom, a heart which perfumes the bed, and a wine in crystal goblets, accompanied by "panforte panpepato", well known for its aphrodisiacal effects.

All the rooms are furnished with antiques and have a charm from long ago, but there is one which is particularly beautiful, the room created for the Grand Duke of Tuscany and his loverIsabella. Those wishing to stay a little longer in the occasion of Valentines day Fattoria del Colle proposes some fun with the "Kiss tree" in the park in front of the villa at Colle where there is an old seat under the mistletoe, with some rings where one attaches a padlock and there is also a frog sitting waiting, hoping to be kissed and be transformed into a prince. But the best proposal, the most intense and intriguing is another: exchanging promises of love in front of the "Albero d'oro di Lucignano". Fattoria del Colle also supplies a promise to be read in front of the enormous reliquary made of silver, golden-bronze, enamel, quartz, and corals, that for centuries has been symbol of love and faith

Wellness experience at Fattoria del Colle

The wellness centre has been created at the back of the 16th century villa in front of a reathtaking panorama over the Val d'Orcia and the Crete Senesi. It is particular because of the modern and refined design of the structure to which have been added hand made tiles produced according to 19th century drawings which recall Turkish baths and the odalisques painted by Ingres. The relaxing atmosphere which is also slightly sensual typical of the great painter is also enhanced by the possibility of tasting wine while bathing in the small pool. The wellness centre is equipped with a Turkish bath, sauna, relaxation room, sensorial shower, Kneipp experience, and Jacuzzi. We advise guests to bring bathing costume, bath robe and pool footwear, Fattoria del Colle will supply the towels.
