Restaurant Osteria di Donatella

The Osteria di Donatella restaurant is inside the 16th century estate Fattoria del Colle, South of Siena and serves traditional dishes from the Sienese countryside matched with the great red wines from the two wineries including Brunello di Montalcino. Donatella Cinelli Colombini's restaurant has a large indoor hall with floral decorations and a veranda with a view of the vineyards and the hamlet called Trequanda. The atmosphere is homely and the care and attention to detail make the Osteria di Donatella an ideal place for dinner among friends, or for couples, for business lunches, meetings, parties and ceremonies.

100 recipes chosen among traditional dishes from Siena and from Trequanda (Crostini neri, Zuppa Trequandina, Pinci con la nana, Zuppa dei logaioli, Peposo dei fornaciai di Petroio, Involtini di cavolella, Scottiglia di pollo, coniglio e maiale, Panforte and Ricciarelli), typical recipes which have been revised (Ravioli ripieni di ossobuco alla senese, Risotto al Brunello, Maltagliati con sugo di cinghiale su un letto di passato di ceci, Arista di maiale con crema di pollo e patè nero senese, Caffè in forchetta), dishes created by our chef Antonio (Gangheretti al sugo di cinta senese, Ravioli ripieni di peposo su specchio di crema di zucca gialla, vellutata di cavolo nero alla grappa, Straccetti di chianina al rosa di tetto, Torta pane pere e cioccolato).

All the pasta and desserts are hand made by the two Patrizias.

From May to September the restaurant offers gourmet workshops and dinners with a theme, as described in the weekly program of activities:

Monday: 6:00 p.m., gourmet workshop: lesson on pinci, local handmade pasta.

Dinner – menu with pinci, alternatively menu à la carte.

Tuesday: Dishes cooked with wine, alternatively menu à la carte

Thursday: 6:00. pm., gourmet workshop: together we will make bread and pizza.

Pizza party – buffet dinner with pies, pizza and focaccia, alternatively menu à la carte.

Friday: Mixed grill, alternatively menu à la carte.

Saturday: menu à la carte.

Sunday: menu à la carte.

Meals for Groups

There is a selection of menus, (light lunches, buffets and snacks) for groups of 15 or more.

Diners may taste local dishes matched with Donatella Cinelli Colombini's wines. One free meal every 20 participants.
