Weddings and banquets

Fattoria del Colle in Trequanda ( South of Siena ) is a perfect wedding venue in Tuscany, with its panoramas over the Crete Senesi and the Val d'Orcia, the parks, the Italian style garden, the 16th century villa and its hamlet and courtyards, the houses and the olive groves. An old time atmosphere which will give an intimate, exclusive and romantic touch to the wedding.

The 16th century chapel called San Clemente is apt for ceremonies for up to 40 people. It is intimate, well kept and rich in paintings and antique furnishings.

It is possible to celebrate ceremonies out in the open choosing between the beautiful and panoramic area called Belvedere or the shade of the trees in the Boschetto area in front of the villa where one also finds a sanctified tabernacle.

For the photographs we recommend suggestive areas such as the Italian style garden with its lemon vases. The farmhouse is famous for its 16th century villa, the Coat of Arms hall, the kitchen with the monumental fireplace, and the historic cellar with the barrels containing prestigious Italian red wines.

The park near the swimming pools with its breathtaking view and its flowered rockeries is apt for an aperitif or for the cutting of the wedding cake. For the wedding reception there are two halls in the restaurant Osteria di Donatella: the fireplace hall with floral decorations (seats 50) and, as an alternative, the veranda with a panoramic view of the vineyards and of the medieval village of Trequanda (seats 50). The terrace with its wonderful view is equipped with gazebos for ceremonies and is apt for larger weddings.

The characteristic of our menus is the local cuisine: such as "pinci" (hand made pasta), "pappardelle", "rivolti", "tagliata di bue Chianino", "peposo dei fornaciai" and "scottiglia". Our chef also suggests more innovative dishes while our patisseur Patrizia carries out traditional cakes and deserts such as tarts, "zuccotto" together with some more refined modern preparations. Our patisseur will prepare a unique wedding cake by hand, according to the indications and preferences of the wedding couple.

For the wedding couples first romantic night we suggest the bedroom which once belonged to the Grand Duke of Tuscany and his beloved Isabella. The room is furnished with antique furniture; the ceiling has frescoes representing the Tuscan countryside birds and the farmhouses once belonging to the estate.
