Easter as a Wine lover in Tuscany
Four days in the most well-preserved Tuscan countryside famous for its panoramas and great red wines for aging: Montalcino, Valdorcia and the Crete Senesi
Easter 2023 at Fattoria del Colle
For those who want to see where the great red wines of Tuscany (Brunello, Chianti and Doc Orcia) are born and want to taste them in the cellar or in combination with ancient dishes of the same culture.
For those who want to regenerate body and spirit in the midst of nature, in the quiet of parks, with themed trekking trails, or by bathing in wine followed by a couple’s massage with an expert therapist who uses only natural products (to be booked in advance and paid for separately).
For those seeking the intimacy of ancient and real places that resemble the home of “Tuscan grandparents” and want to taste the food, listen to the stories, touch the plants of a noble farm with 430 years of history.
Donatella Cinelli Colombini waits for them at the Fattoria del Colle with its immense panoramas and splendid wines.

The trail through the cellar and in the fermentations room allows you to discover the secrets of wine and the history of the places. In addition to the small and large oak barrels, where the Brunello ages for over two years acquiring finesse and complexity, there are also paintings on the history of Montalcino. The itinerary includes the fermentation room with truncated conical concrete vats onto which paintings by the painter Roberto Turchi and photos of Montalcino are projected while hearing local sounds, music and songs. - 8.00 pm Dinner at the Fattoria del Colle restaurant with Florentine pappa col pomodoro and Dante’s soup (the great poet travelled the Francigena in the direction of Rome in the year 1300 and the soup is a faithful reconstruction of medieval flavours).
