RED WINE IN WINTER AND WHITE IN THE SUMMER?

It would be like saying: summer doesn’t want red wines! This is a false myth. There are no “seasonal wines” because most wines can be enjoyed in any season. You can’t uncork a white wine with a summer meat BBQ?!
You just need a little attention. In summer, red wines should be “cooled” briefly and brought to their “ideal temperature”, one that ranges from 16 to 18 degrees. During the meal, the bottle of red wine should be kept cool and the temperature under control. The solution is an ice basket in which to store the bottle, to keep close at hand. Just as you will also do with our Rosa di Tetto rosé.
The light, fresh, young red wines, with good acidity and aroma, with moderate alcohol content and structure, are also suitable for drinking with seafood dishes or cold vegetable-based dishes. While our rosé is perfect as an aperitif, during a meal and even after! It goes perfectly with soups, fish, eggs, white meats and vegetables but also with soft, not too spicy cheeses, also perfect for a picnic in the countryside or by the sea, on any convivial occasion!

COLOUR: Onion skin pink.
BOUQUET: Fine, clean, rich in mineral and floral references with particular reference to violets, fruity like a basket of red and exotic fruit.
TASTE: Although with the grace of a rosé wine, it shows the typical structure of Tuscan Sangiovese, with tannins and acids to balance alcohol and flavour. It leaves its flavour pleasantly in the mouth for a long time
LEONE ROSSO 2020 IN THE GLASS
COLOUR: Intense and brilliant ruby red.
BOUQUET: Fine, rich, intense: hints of grapes with those ripe red fruits, undergrowth and spices.
