The most requested location is the Belvedere, a horse-shoe shaped area surrounded buy a seating and roses. Three pillars mounted with a terracotta pine cone delimit the entrance and the centre of the curve. Behind the alter the panorama is wonderful and to the side a row of cypress trees assures shade during the summer afternoons.

Then there are the lawns in front of the Val d’Orcia panorama, a territory named by UNESCO as world heritage site because of the beauty of its farmland. The best spots are in front of Villa Cenerentola and in front of Villa Archi. Many couples choose the lawn between the swimming pools which looks over the suggestive and lunar territory of the Crete senesi, one of the landscapes most loved by photographers and advertisers.

Last but not least my favourite: the park in front of the 16th century villa at

Colle. The bride comes out of the main door and descends the steps on her fathers arm and enters the park in front where a tabernacle is waiting for her, it is consecrated and dedicated to pope San Clemente . This is where she finds the altar with the groom waiting for her. The chairs for the guests are placed in a semicircle as if in a Church made of trees.…
