This Brunello was born in the first Italian winery with an entirely female workforce and is the first long-aging red created for female consumers. Every year 4 super experts taste all of Donatella Cinelli Colombini’s Brunello and choose the barrels or tonneaux in which it matures as well as the final blend. They are the Masters of Wine, Rosemary George and Madeleine Stenwreth, the wine expert Astrid Schwarz and the Sommelier Daniela Scrobogna. Therefore, based on their decisions, the winemakers at Donatella Cinelli Colombini create Brunello Prime Donne which is generally the most structured and is produced only in the best harvests.

WHY THE NAME CENERENTOLA FOR THIS ORCIA WINE

The Orcia denomination was established on February 14^th 2000 in the high hills that lie between the territories of Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.…

The Superiore denomination indicates a Chianti with superior quality characteristics and aging ability. It is produced only in vineyards that have a greater vocation and lower production. This Chianti Superiore is certified BIO-organic  and is a “farmhouse” wine as we call it in Tuscany, that is, it is a “family wine” born in the property’s vineyards, and then vinified, matured and bottled by the same winery.
