Tuscan cuisine

Tuscan agriturismo with restaurant. At the heart of the small hamlet called Fattoria del Colle is the restaurant that bears the name of its owner Donatella Cinelli Colombini, who created it to serve her Brunello, Orcia and Chianti wines together with typical Tuscan dishes. To these local dishes new recipes have been added specifically created to match the wines. Every dish is prepared with care and with excellent ingredients: fresh vegetables from the estate gardens, Chianina meats and Cinta Senese pork, white truffles from the Crete Senesi. Many are Slow food Presidia, and all from Tuscany land, the result of a study which aims at bringing to the table only what is genuine and traditional.

The restaurant is refined yet informal. The smaller dining room has a fireplace and the walls are decorated with art nouveau. The veranda is a large dining room with spectacular views on three sides, of vineyards, woods, and the medieval village of Trequanda.
The furniture includes solid wood tables and upholstered chairs, combining tradition comfort and elegance. During the summer our Trequanda restaurant has a large balcony surrounded by nature to welcome guests for dining out of doors.

From spring to autumn, every evening a themed menu is proposed together with the menu à la carte, and especially one dish purposely matched with the wine served by the glass.




For a wedding in a Tuscan Villa, Agriturismo Fattoria del Colle in Trequanda is the perfect venue. The panoramas of the Crete Senesi and the Val d’Orcia, extraordinary landscapes of the Sienese countryside, the parks, the Italian style garden, the Sixteenth 16th century Tuscan villa and its hamlet and courtyards, the farm houses and the olive groves all belong to a painting of a Renaissance master and the atmosphere provides an intimate, exclusive and romantic touch to any wedding.

Our cookery courses

Cookery courses for individuals and for small groups, where to learn old Tuscan recipes and more modern ones. Two exceptional teachers: Helle Poulsen Tesio, gastronomist and author of 16 books on Italian cuisine and Giovanni Rallo, chef at the Fattoria del Colle restaurant.
