FRIDAY
Arrival and settle into rooms. Fattoria del Colle is a small hamlet of medieval origin. Where long ago the farmers used to live today there are villas, apartments and rooms, all furnished with antique furniture. But equipped with bathrooms and modern central heating.
8,00 pm dinner in the estate restaurant in the fireplace dining room or in the veranda facing the vineyards and the village of Trequanda. 3course meal (drinking not included) such as Pappardelle con sugo di scottiglia di cinghiale (tasty meat dressing from the Montalcino tradition) and Tagliata di bue chianino, the white giant frequently found in this areas since Etruscan and roman times.
IN THEIR ROOM the couple will find two glasses and a bottle of Spumante Metodo Classico Brut Rosè from sangiovese grapes
SATURDAY
8,30-10,00 am Buffet breakfast that includes home-baked Sienese cakes , and tarts, local cold cuts and cheeses, omelettes and olive oil dips as was done by the Tuscan farmers as well as the usual juices, yogurt, coffee and tea.
11,00 am (it takes 45 minutes with your own car, ask for a map at the Reception) Montalcino Casato Prime Donne winery,
tasting of Rosso, Brunello di Montalcino and Brunello Riserva. The experience lasts about an hour and allows visitors to see where the wines vinify and age in barrel, the Sangiovese organic vineyards and the pieces of contemporary art such as the Brunello Calendar that illustrates the stars attributed to each Brunello vintage, the Modernacolo created for Carla Fendi, the frame where to take a selfie …. The explanations introduce guests to the history of Montalcino and the secrets of the production of Brunello.
The second and third wine are accompanied by diced bread and sausage
The tour includes the new fermentation area with new bare cement truncated-cone vats upon which “The dove’s flight” is projected.

8,00 pm Dinner in the restaurant at Fattoria del Colle with 3 coursessuch as with Pinci con sugo toscano and Peposo, a typical dish from the areas famous for bricks and terracotta (Impruneta and Trequanda) dating back to the Renaissance ( the dinner is not included in the package. € 35,00 per person , drinking not included . 10,30 am guided tour of Fattoria del Colle where you will discover the room that once belonged to the Grand Duke Pietro Leopoldo, where he used to meet his lover Isabella, the armorial hall and the old kitchen, the 1592 chapel and the winery with the Infernotto del Brunello. To conclude an informal tasting of Cenerentola Doc Orcia and a farewell toast.
