THE LOCATION: FATTORIA DEL COLLE
Fattoria del Colle was built in 1592 by the ancestors of the current owner and resembles a small hamlet that has remained miraculously intact over the centuries. Surrounding the villa and chapel are the former farmworkers’ cottages—now converted into guest rooms and apartments featuring antique furnishings and Wi-Fi—as well as a wine cellar, restaurant, banquet hall, cooking school, and a natural wellness area for rejuvenation through massages and wine baths. The estate is set amidst four parks, with olive groves and vineyards stretching out beyond, sloping down toward the breathtaking scenery of the Val d’Orcia and the Crete Senesi.
Located two and a half hours from Rome and Bologna, and one hour from Florence and Perugia; 18 km from the Valdichiana exit on the A1 motorway.
