Donatella Cinelli Colombini Brunello Riserva and Leone Rosso Orcia Doc obtain another fantastic result
The Wine Spectator awarded 93/100 to our Brunello Riserva 2005 and Tidings magazine from Toronto Canada, which was introduced to us through our importer Le Sommelier Inc., awarded the excellent score of 92/100 to the Leone Rosso DOC Orcia 2007.
Bruce Sanderson ‘s comment on behalf of the Wine Spectator was very positive “This smooth red is laced with black cherry and plum, yet with serious tannins lurking in the background. They emerge on the finish, along with touches of licorice and spice. Turns dense and chewy in texture. Best from 2013 through 2026.”
The last sentence seems a very positive encouragement.
The 2007 Leone Rosso also had a good score which confirms our belief that this wine is an immediate success. We have already sold out of this wine in our cantinas so for those who would like to taste it and enjoy it please look out for it in the wine shops and restaurants.
The picture shows Felix, Donatella Cinelli Colombini ’s golden retriever, who is demonstrating his enthusiasm and happiness at our good results.
