And here they are in action, Paolo and Paola the “home restylers” at Fattoria del Colle. He’s a carpenter and gardener and she’s an accountant, but together they are a formidable team. They have succeeded in renovating old furniture and giving warmth and comfort to two apartments in the country inn: Guardia and Imbottigliamento.

bedroom, a twin bedroom and bathroom. The view over the Crete Senesi and the Val d’Orcia resembles a Renaissance painting. The lodging is so well furnished that when entering it seems to be ones grandparents home after the visit of an expert furnisher.
The Imbottigliamento apartment is on the ground floor and allows tourists to eat out of doors in the little courtyard in front of the main door. Antique furniture, sometimes of great value, with some modern touches and an uneven flooring that tells of the history of the building where fifty years ago a bottling of the wine took place.
