After visiting the winery, there’s a blind tasting of Brunello and three other mystery wines to become “Champion Sommelier for a Day.” It’s designed like a game, similar to the competitions that select champion sommeliers. Blind tastings allow you to discover, in a fun way, your own tasting skills and, above all, your favourite wine, which you’ll have to describe. At the end, with the bottles uncovered, the tasting continues, commenting on the rating cards and enjoying traditional cured meats and cheeses.
