by Donatella Cinelli Colombini #winedestination

Even in agriculture there is an increasingly rapid turnover of personnel within the new logic of building one’s life and professional path. In Donatella Cinelli Colombini’s wineries the dynamics is accelerated by the very high presence of women, with the resulting consequences in relation to the birth of children or the partners’ moves.

Furthermore, but no less important, the reputation of a company that “builds CVs” for the high level of skills required upon entry and for the enrichment of the professional background that can be acquired during work. A circumstance that brings in a huge number of talented young people who, however, do not stay forever

So here we introduce you to the new faces at Casato Prime Donne winery in Montalcino, Fattoria del Colle in Trequanda and the 3 Toscana Lovers stores in Siena, Cortona and Bagno Vignoni.

Irene Lesti was born in Montepulciano in 1989, the city where she attended the Socio-Psycho-Pedagogical High School and then continued her studies at the University of Florence in the faculty of “Humanistic Sciences for Communication”, interrupting them before graduating. A great athlete, she played volleyball for 15 years, reaching the 1st category championships in Serie D. FISAR Sommelier she has level 2 Wset. Her professional career took place in two Vino Nobile wineries, managing to obtain excellent results. It is a small source of pride for us to have taken her away from her beloved Montepulciano to make her fall in love with Brunello and Doc Orcia.

She has been with us since February 5th and deals with human resources and social media management including photographs and videos that are posted online.

BIANCA MARIA VIERUCCI

Born in 1996, originally from Pontedera, she is an oenologist with a three-year degree from the University of Pisa and a master’s degree, again in viticulture and oenology, from Turin. Her training in the cellar began in two wineries in Montalcino, then continuing in Cividale del Friuli and in Australia in the Mount Langi Giran winery. The last harvest was done at the Campo delle Comete in Bolgheri. Bianca Maria Vierucci arrived with us on March 11th to support Giada Sani in the management of the wineries under the strategic direction of Barbara Magnani, senior oenologist of Donatella Cinelli Colombini’s wines. Together they form a formidable team that produces ever better wines.

ANNA, EMMA E LAVINIA

The group of company new faces is completed by three very young front women: Anna Truffelli who divides her time between her work as an environmental guide and that of a sales assistant at the Toscana Lovers stores in Siena, Bagno Vignoni and Cortona. Still in roles in direct contact with visitors are Emma Mulinari, a recent graduate from the Lambruschini Linguistic High School in Montalcino and Lavinia Civitelli, a language student at the University for Foreigners in Siena.
