💖 The story behind a label: Rosa di Tetto
Donatella was inspired by the two climbing roses that are found on the facade of the villa in Fattoria del Colle in Trequanda, where the rosé is produced. These beautiful roses climb up to the roof of the building.
🍷 Brunello 2020 will excite Brunello lovers, because it recalls the compact and soft silk velvet and expresses itself with characters of particular finesse and elegance.
Maturation in artisanal oak barrels from 4 different French tonnelleries, selected to enhance the grape variety. After aging in wood and in the bottle, the wine is balanced, enveloping, ready to enthuse.

🔍 Curiosity
Rosa di Tetto 2024
Winter and spring with temperatures above seasonal averages and frequent rains. Very hot July and August with daytime temperatures around 37°C that dropped to 22°C at night. The vines were almost paralyzed until the September rains that led to a sudden drop in heat and a strong temperature range between night and day. From that moment on, the slow and regular ripening of the grapes began.
Brunello 2020
In 2020, the year of Covid, there was a spring frost (March 18-23) that drastically reduced the grapes in the vineyards. After a mild and dry winter, June was very rainy, while from mid-July to the end of August the heat was never interrupted by thunderstorms. The good weather continued however in September until the harvest, when the bad weather began to arrive. The rain went around Casato Prime Donne, leaving it dry until September 25, when the harvest was almost complete. That day there was a real downpour, but, fortunately, almost all the grapes were already in the cellar.
