This is the party for Christmas 2011 organized by Donatella Cinelli Colombini

 

 

 

 

 

 

for her employees. The winter festivities are the conclusion of a very intense working year. It is the moment for final balances, which, regardless of the crisis, are one whole positive.

The winery has increate its sales by  5,4% with a strong increase in what is exported, this has compensated the reduction of sales in Italy. The country inn has maintained last year’s levels while the restaurant has had a big contraction because fewer wedding banquets have been organized here. Very good for the shop Toscana Lovers in Siena with a double figure increase.

We are aware of the increase in running costs has burned out any possibility of a margin but , in the midst of this general crisis in Italy, we feel quite the heroes. Bringing home such results has been extremely tiring, we have

worked a lot, a whole lot more than in the past.  For this reason the Christmas party, this year, has a special meaning. It makes us feel stronger and united in the facing up to difficulties which are just around the corner. Luckily we are about to release the extraordinary Brunello di Montalcino 2007, 5 star vintage, and  the new wellness centre is greatly appreciated by tour guests in the country inn. We are working well and this is essential if we want to aim at success

Presents for all: Donatella has given designer label towels by Cotti Maryanne and has received two towels. As if to say: – After the cold showers from the Government, for Christmas let’s cheer up with a nice warm shower!
