3 UNFORGETTABLE WEEKENDS WITH TRUFFLES WITH AN INCREDIBLE AROMA AND GREAT WINES
The first 3 weekends of November, coinciding with the Crete Senesi White Truffle Market.
Stays take place at Fattoria del Colle, a hamlet-like property built in 1592 around the villa where Donatella Cinelli Colombini still lives today. The villa will open its historic rooms for a guided tour.
The apartments and guest rooms retain much of their original furnishings and floors. Sleeping here will feel like staying in your Tuscan grandparents’ home.
The program unfolds over two or three days and is full of surprises and unique moments.

Fattoria del Colle Monache living room
Of course, there’s truffle hunting in the woods with dogs, so you’ll need to bring wellies or rain boots, as well as a hooded windbreaker. Nothing dangerous, but it’s still an adventure along small streams where oak and larches grow.
HUNTING AND TASTING THE TRUFFLES
The guided tour of the Casato Prime Donne winery in Montalcino ends with a tasting of Brunello and Brunello Riserva. A direct and fun way to discover the Brunello production process, the history of Montalcino, and even the traditions of its people. Donatella Cinelli Colombini’s winery is unlike any other.
The tagliolini with truffle cooking class and the extra virgin olive oil tasting are also unique experiences that will enrich participants with new knowledge.

Fattoria del Colle Toscana restaurant
The guided tour of Fattoria del Colle, complete with tasting of three wines, is also a journey through Tuscan history and Tuscan art. This tour includes the 16th-century villa, the chapel of San Clemente, the cellar with its barrel room, vat room, vinsantaia, and a room that “teaches you to listen to the vines.”
Finally, the aperitif with white truffle crostini from the Crete Senesi and a classic method Brut Rosé vintage sparkling wine adds a touch of elegance to a program that, despite the informal atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside, still retains an aristocratic and time-honoured character.
