We offer you two boxes together containing a total of 12 bottles containing three wines obtained from the Donatella Cinelli Colombini vineyards in Tuscany. They were harvested by hand, vinified and matured in the cellar at Casato Prime Donne in Montalcino and Fattoria del Colle in southern Chianti. The boxes will be delivered directly to your home along with three single shoppers that will allow you, if you wish to give some of these bottles to friends and relatives with their original packaging. In the box there are also the seals with the logo to close the packages. It will be as if you had bought the wine directly in our cellars. All these wines are novelties just released on the market and you can taste them and present them like small “previews from Tuscany”.

– Rosso di Montalcino 2019: is suitable as an aperitif, for lunches with tasty dishes, preferably Tuscan, but also with mushroom pizza, or between meals with semi-aged tuscan pecorino and fontina and with other snacks.
– Supertuscan Il Drago e le 8 Colombe: is a very versatile wine that accompanies Italian but also Asian foods. Try it with ramen or rice from Asian cuisine or with cheeses such as an aged Cheddar, Emmental or Edam, just to mention three cheeses of great history that, if produced by hand in their countries of origin, are extraordinarily good.
– Leone Rosso Orcia Doc: this is also an easy wine to pair with meals and to drink between meals. Better with low-fat and non greasy foods but excellent with grills and burgers of excellent fresh meat or with Italian cold cuts and cheeses such as taleggio.

2018 AND 2019 HARVESTS
These are two excellent vintages.
In Tuscany in 2018 there was a rainy spring and an English-style summer, with the umbrella always on hand. Instead in September the sun was apt for sunbathing. Throughout the month the sugar concentration of the grapes continued to grow thanks to a double action of the sun: directly on the clusters and on the whole plant that began to be thirsty and absorbed liquids from the grapes. Slowly the size of the berries decreased, their skins softened and the noble substances that were contained in them began to become soluble. The result is a 4-star harvest with very elegant and long lasting wines.
2019 is a memorable harvest. Classified 5 stars because of the perfect quality of the grapes: small bunches small, ripe and healthy berries. An impressive amount of noble substances that, from the grape skins went into the must, colouring it in a few hours and which were then extracted through a longer maceration than usual.
ROSSO DI MONTALCINO, LEONE ROSSO DOC ORCIA AND SUPERTUSCAN IL DRAGO E LE 8 COLOMBE
The Rosso di Montalcino BIO 2019 is from a 5-star harvest produced with artisan care in the Casato Prime Donne winery in Montalcino, the first Italian winery with an all female staff. Montalcino is considered the best area in the world for the cultivation of the Sangiovese vine which is used for the production of Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino.
The Leone Rosso 2019 Doc Orcia (Sangiovese and Merlot) is a small and exclusive production born in the vineyards, vinified and matured at Fattoria del Colle that was built by the ancestors of the current owner in 1592.
The “Drago e le 8 Colombe” 2018 is a Supertuscan wine that is one in which the wine maker can express himself/herself more freely by making a blend to their own taste. In this case the wine is dedicated to the only man in the cellar (Carlo, Donatella Cinelli Colombini’s husband) and to the 8 doves; these are the female cellar staff. It contains Sangiovese that gives the wine elegance, Merlot that gives it softness and the Sagrantino that combines the tannic and acidic structure.
